MESOTHERAPY

Tiny micro injections are placed in the skin. The product improves circulation and blood supply to the area, which in turn can help smooth the delicate skin lying under the skin.
Mesotherapy can leave you looking refreshed with minimal discomfort.
What is Mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy (from Greek mesos, “middle”, and therapy from Greek therapeia, “to treat medically”) is a non-surgical cosmetic medicine treatment. Mesotherapy employs multiple injections of pharmaceutical and homeopathic medications, plant extracts, vitamins, and other ingredients into subcutaneous tissues - in this case the under eye area.
Will it hurt?
You will have anaesthetic cream applied to the area which means that you shouldn‘t feel a thing.
Is the effect instant?
A course of four treatments spread one week to 10 days apart is advised for full benefit.
Can I go straight back to work afterwards?
It might be wise to bring a good cover stick with you in case of bruising, Doctor tries her best not to cause a bruise but due to the fine, papery skin under the eyes this is not always possible.
Am I a good candidate?
During consultation a full medical questionnaire will need to be completed. Some predisposing medical conditions may mean mesotherapy is not recommended.
Are there any side effects?
Due to the natural products that make up mesotherapy, side effects are practically nonexistent but you might experience:
-
Burning that can last 15 - 20 minutes.
-
Minor swelling that can last 1 - 5 days (this can vary with some patients).
-
Minor soreness that can last several days.
-
A slight risk of infection (which may occur whenever an injection is administered).
